BASARAN Shıp Buildıng & Repairing Co. was inaugurated in early 20’s with two primary considerations in mind- care of the marine environment and successful ship owning activities. In this respect, the Group has successfully implemented the concept of Floating Slops Reception Facilities , as per MARPOL 73/78. THE GROUP'S involvement in this field dates back to the early 20's.

For receiving slope, sludge, bilge waters, dirty ballast water and garbage with our own Waste Collection Vessel in Turkish region.

Since it had first started to its operation some 10 years ago, the group has always been the biggest player within this sector and still continues to claim for providing the highest quality standards in the service. Today, with its fleet of various service boats and experienced personnel, all sorts of support services are provided to the clients both in Turkey region.

The Group's facility conveniently positioned at the Marmara Sea Area is providing the main slops reception facility for passing vessels either inbound or outbound, offering full services on a 24 hour basis. This maximizes efficiency and reduces the cost and time delay to an absolute minimum.

In the area that is well served by agency coverage, BASARAN as owners in their own right are better able to appreciate local problems and limitations in offering the direct supervision of our dedicated Marine and Engineering Superintendents.
